In Memory Of Poem by Laurence Overmire

In Memory Of

Rating: 5.0

His name is on a quilt.
It hangs in the museum.

People from all over
Come to look
At names they’ve never heard.

I just wish they could know
The person behind the name.

Then maybe they’d understand
The cost
Of what we’ve lost.
