In Memory Of Alfred Whitehead Poem by Raymond Farrell

In Memory Of Alfred Whitehead

Rating: 4.0

Recollecting
my school days
I remember
constantly
struggling against
the tendency
to spend precious hours
memorizing useless details
without practical worth
simply to obtain marks
this constant trafficking
in dead knowledge
has caused
our system of education
to give off
a foul odor.
