In Mind...Still

Evening it is
Everyone, in a hurry
Except you

The sun, so sleepy
The clouds, so gravid

You pass by and pause
I pause and look

Your luggage
On your back

I see

Your buggage
In your heart

I feel

Your eyes
White
And black
And grey
And Glassy

Betrayal, betrayal, betrayal

A drizzle...

In haste
I depart
I ponder

No Home
No Home
Poor you

A distance...

I look back
The pause
Still on

You are home
This kerb
Your home

Raindrops...

Not a pause
It's a stop
You are home

Torrents!

Poem of the Day

poet Christopher Marlowe

It lies not in our power to love or hate,
For will in us is overruled by fate.
When two are stripped, long ere the course begin,
We wish that one should love, the other win;
