In My Arms Safe From All Harms Poem by Layla Price

In My Arms Safe From All Harms

What do you see oh child of mine?
Could it be that you see the heavens divine?
You look at the sky
With a twinkle in your eye,
Oh Roseanna my dear
To mine eyes shall have a tear
Then shall I think of what you see
And wonder could it be?
Could you see the havens above?
Or the Holy Spirit passing like a dove
Tis’ it not sad that you soon will forget
And unto the world might be subject
But nay nay
Not for today
For you are in my arms
And safe from all harms
And from day to day
May it stay this way,
Till the man that you marry
Comes to get thee
And with permeation of thy father
You shall be wed, and have of thy own sons and daughters.
