In My Hair: The Autumn Air Poem by Joseph Blitch

In My Hair: The Autumn Air

Sunny day; Walking in meadow green;
In admiration; Enjoying the autumn air;
A more beautiful bouquet yet to be seen;
Daffodils dotting the hill side they share;

Some covered by patches of fresh snow;
Buttercup yellow pepper green and white;
With small lake glistening shortly below;
The eye beholding such a beautiful sight;

Standing alone in breeze on crest above;
Wishing I had someone to share this with;
My one and only; my friend; my true love;
To enjoy each moment we have left to live;

Bringing happiness in place of the sorrow;
Loving each other in truth; without any lie;
Living for today; concerned for tomorrow;
Bound together; never voicing a good bye;

Two hearts unified; sharing a special place;
Unrestricted by distance or any amount time;
Love of most elegant splendor full of grace;
Would in all honesty be heavenly sublime.
