In Proper Places Of The Heart. Poem by Sebastian Soberania

In Proper Places Of The Heart.

Rating: 5.0

if you talk about emotions
i have much of it,
in fact, there is no more
container for it

i let them all go,
they too have their own resting places
sadness ought to live in cemeteries
happiness stays in the sofa at the living room
joy at the dining table with a candle light
and scents of cinnamon

what i mean is that, we simply have to put
everything in their proper places
why should one be overwhelmed with sorrow
in the bathroom
or depression in the parks of life?

take time, pour water in that jar,
water the dry parts, clean those dirty nooks
fly in air, dive in the river,
swim in the sea of life
don't fret and wait like an idiot in the
mall queuing for the unknown.
