In Reality. Poem by Medusa Waves

In Reality.

Id be a liar, if I told you I didn’t seek another soul
In this world of many wandering bodies, they entice me so
Each one trapped within a boundary they alone-create.
I seek to break it-for the body and soul to separate.
I don’t fall in love with your surface.
I don’t fall in love with your face
I fall in love, as I do many times-
With the inner being, who from silence dies
Perhaps I should never love
I couldn’t give you the stars above
In reality, we will both die someday
In reality, we both fell in love one day
And both know it’s all the same.
