In Snow Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

In Snow

In snow

In my car I feel like
Entrapped in basement
With the windows closed
To outside; all the world.

It snows and my eyes in the dark
Search and search…but for what?

Remember trainer in class:
"Look at wall and then write
Stories about what…"

Stories with no base?
About what?
And on what character?
About joy? Or sadness?

Did not know the author
Of heroes…J. Campbell!

He claims:
"Heroes are all the same;
Live at home,
Something comes, requires
Hero's move, departure…"

Then divides adventures
Into parts and sections…

This is what movies are.

And at end, hero is
The gone; as returnee…

No flakes to talk of
No trace of drops
To claim that it rains.

But see some granules,
Sky is can of paint;
Milky is everywhere…
