In The Beginning Writing Poetry Poem by Terence George Craddock

In The Beginning Writing Poetry

in the beginning writing is a win lose situation
sometimes 2 steps forward then one step back
we write inspired beginning good to fading bad

eventually we find creative expression a few styles
we begin the journey to write write a little better
at a guess a lot of a poet's experimental early poems

should have kept to a flowing pure simple originality
more is less rhythm words concise rather than extending
into more complex ideas less accessible unless desirable
