In The Clouds Poem by David Harris

In The Clouds

My head is in the clouds
whenever you walk my way.
Reality does not exist
and I’m lost for words
not knowing what to say.
The words I want to speak
are lost again for another day.

How am I ever
to tell you how I feel
when my head is in the clouds,
because my mind can’t concentrate
whenever you walk my way.
I’ve tried and I’ve tried
to make sense of it all.

One-day reality will kick in
and I will get a chance to say
the words I want to tell you,
but will it be too late
only love will know.
Until then my head will be
in the clouds when you walk my way.
