For the believers,
the lighting of lights
in the church,
at home or on
the graves also
points to the
fundamental truth
of Christian faith:
Jesus Christ,
who through his
death on the cross
and his resurrection
overcame the
finality of death,
is himself the light
in the darkness of death.
