In The Face Of Depression Poem by Sihle Josias Makhanya

In The Face Of Depression

Rating: 5.0

Knock knock, It's me, Open up,
Let me be a friend, brother and a sister
you need, Let's get ride of this loneliness,
Let me be the light of your heart,
The guide to your journey.

Knock knock, it's love, Open up,
Let go of the past, Welcome the future,
I'm the healer ofbroken hearts,
To give a fresh start in life,
To rejoice what was once taken away,
A smile of an unborn child.

Knock knock, it's happiness, open up,
I'm the light that many want,
I'm the light that few have,
Like money, They all want me,
They all call loud on me,
Like water, I flow in one direction,
Entering doors that welcomes me.

Knock knock, Depression, Bye,
Say bye to your old friend named
depression, Let me be yours,
Don't let it ruin your life,
Don't let it win you over,
Don't let it dominate in your life,
Don't let it bring you down,
Don't let it take control of you.
