In The Lover's Heart Poem by Mohammad Younus

In The Lover's Heart

In the lover's heart,
Gleams no shadow of the selfish ego,
In its light and melody,
A romantic ballet does unfold,
Yet, the senses blinded by desires,
Miss this celestial show.

Within the heart's mirror,
Truth paints a vibrant rainbow,
The divine gaze discerns not illusions
But the true essence.

The five thieves of ego -
Lust, anger, greed, attachment, and pride,
Fade away like rust on mirror surface,
In the presence of polished reflection.

In faith, pure and unwavering,
The divine spark ignites,
Radiating within,
As a resplendent diamond divine
