In The Moment

Nothing else to do,
So I write whatever comes to mind,
A poem in the moment,

Finally I've found a place,
With people like me,
Who understand how I feel,
The way my mind works,
To other it's a mystery,
But here they speak,
The way I do,
They think the way I do
Here my thoughts are not scroned,
My feelings not teased,
A place where I feel at home,
where nothing confuses me,

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
