In The Moment Poem by victoria martinez

In The Moment

The day hours setting as the night meshes, fingers holding lustful touch
The whole exquisite beauty being all I can see
The wait before we connect feels like too much
The time defining all we will ever be
.
As if you body bores honey I become the greedy bee
Defying the laws of gravity creating a golden rush of exotic scent
Our shaking bodies float up a wave less sea
To hold your body into the moment; which was for what I was meant
.
Your breath filling my ears; stinging like the cooling of a mint
As your coaxing whispers become all I hear
My reply is that this dream of your existence is surely heaven sent
But, you push my body down while holding my look so dear
.
The love of this moment is all I knew
But, the revelation of the feeling was something new
