In The Mountain Poem by Luo Zhihai

In The Mountain

★ In the Mountain

☆ Poetry by Li She (? -806? , Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

No way to the cowboy
He drove cows to eat bamboos of mine
Separating a forest, called out him but didn’t reply
He cried and laughed like a running deer
Wanted to repay the old village man near
Did not return my house late at night

☆ 李涉 诗

无奈牧童何
放牛吃我竹
隔林呼不应
叫笑如生鹿
欲报田舍翁
更深不归屋
