In The Shadow Of Dust. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

In The Shadow Of Dust.

Rating: 3.0

Fear More The Shadow of Your Emptiness
Than the shadow of of reality
You need no more strength to achieve this
Than just your own hidden in your being
Relish the dust that you will turn into
For the dust is but the spirit of our earth
Pure fragrant wind blown dust
That will cradle whats left of you
Till time covers over you remnants
And all thought of you is lost to the wind
That blows cool over the ground
Of forever and a day.
You are you. You are your own God.
You need not man to feed you strength.
Be strong, be your own protector in the shadows
Let no one preach to you.
Go to the dust with a smile.
