In The Worst Sort Of People Poem by Francis Duggan

In The Worst Sort Of People

Though some do not seem to know how to be kind
In the worst sort of people some good you will find
On the journey through life many from grace do fall
But the potential for evil it is in us all
From good mentors we learn about compassion and kindness of heart
And young people with bad role models in life have a bad start
Some talk of life choices such words easy to say
Though circumstance of such often get in the way
If the people you look up to are locked up in jail
Then in life you may well be one destined to fail
To live a better life others you may not inspire
If failure is the lot of those that you admire
There's potential in all of us for to be bad
And for the child with bad role models one must feel sad.
