In This Dream Tonight Poem by william mae

In This Dream Tonight

Rating: 5.0

When you drift off into dreams tonight,
Send your heart my way.
And I'll send mine to meet you,
Where our love can have its play.

And send your soul there also,
Though the distance might be far.
Perhaps out there our souls will touch,
Somewhere among the stars.

Could our dreams connect each other,
In a place we've never been?
In a way we've never touched,
But in this dream they might begin.

Could you confide all your passion,
Talk of wants your needs and cares?
Talk of pain and oh yes laughter,
In this dream far off somewhere.

It would not be, and easy task,
To connect a dream that way.
Yet that’s why dreams are special,
Because you think they might someway.
