Wanting everything to just stop in time.
Wishing everything to go back to the way things were.
Waiting for things to fall back into place.

I’ve been told I made the mistake.
I’m starting to believe it is.
But wait all I did was love you.

I want you back like there is no tomorrow.
This pain I feel is getting unbearable.
Needing you here with me every day.

I’m missing a part of my heart.
The hole is getting bigger,
With each passing moment I can’t call you mine.

In time will things get better?
Will he realize what he lost?
Will there be an us in the future?

I wish on every shooting star,
For the day when I can be in his arms.
Waiting for that day to be just around the corner.

People don’t understand what I’m feeling.
They think it’s all a mistake.
That I shouldn’t have fallen for him.

I have shed so many tears for this boy.
Each tear dropp pattering on the linoleum floor.
Making a puddle full of sorrow.

How long will it be before I’m just another memory?
Wish no one would judge what I feel.
Because it is real.
