In Unknown Field Poem by Blossoms Harddy

In Unknown Field

I look in the glass I see a clown
Of me a fool this life has made
In life's waters I fear I'll drown
Then all my flaws will quickly fade
All that I do; all is disgrace
To me and to those of my race
I am a bird taking a swim
In the sea, not at own whim
Patience! Calm! allow me to learn
For time my patterns sure will trim
And respect with joy I yet may earn
