In visions of the dark night,
my restless mind awaits
So tired of winding backwards,
so tired of clenching on so tight
In visions of the bright day,
my useless smile betrays
So tired of blazing lies
escaping through the lips and gaze
In visions of an empty bed,
my body slowly aches
So scared of all this nothingness,
so scared of all this space
In visions of these scattered fears,
my heart reaches it’s last beat
So tired of pumping bloodless,
so tired of it’s own defeat
In visions of this unconsciousness,
my tears become an ocean
Carefree of letting go,
this is where my dreaming ends
