Indifference Poem by Sandra Feldman

Indifference

Rating: 5.0

Today,
Lost in an insane sea
Of arrogance and senseless
Complacency,
All barriers have been broken,
All crowns of dignity and pride
Have tumbled down,
The naked Truth is homeless
And we, like stupid ruined,
Broken statues from the past,
Remain silent and motionless,
And are too cowardly,
Indifferent, to even make
A disapproving frown.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Absolutely right Sandra! An attitude of complacency coupled with arrogance ruins our life. Being silent always does not mean you are right. It needs courage to call a spade a spade. Indifference and indecision are two characteristic that one can easily do away with. Brilliant poem- - - 10

An astute observation on human behavior. Very incisive too and so very true. Yes, indifference and indecision deter development. They breed cowards. A.marvelous poem brilliantly penned.
