Indoctrination Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Indoctrination

Rating: 5.0

If you could transcend your Ego,
You would see, —that we are equal!
But then, you'll have to face your false beliefs:
The early indoctrination, and prejudice.

If to yourself wish to be true:
(For, that's what for the Ego is there, too!)
You will have to delve within yourself,
And you will recognise it in myself.

I am the mirror for ‘your self' to see:
Souls of same Source—you and me! —
What darkness has eclipsed your mind,
That made you icy-cold, and blind?

Wise words MP, Last one took it to a different level altogether... I quote I am the mirror for yourself to see: Souls of same Source—you and me! — What darkness has eclipsed your mind, That made you icy-cold, and blind?

Stupendous write. Early indoctrination has been a part and parcel of our lives. Yet, we have our own minds to filter their advantages or disadvantages...10
