Industrially Educated Poem by Abigail Pastor

Industrially Educated

I have no mind to theorize
Just give me facts to memorize
I'll cram and jam them in my brain
A list, a date, a word, a name

I have no wish to analyze
To seek out truth, to seek out lies
Career and wealth will still remain
Once I've forgotten knowledge gained

I have no longing to be wise
I'll do my time, collect my prize
I've had four years in which to train
I taught myself to play the game
