Inevitavel

E um dia,
te reencontrei,
Num fosso de saudades,
Em uma noite de inverdades...

Uma eternidade de segundos,
Ao ver teus olhos,
E voce perdida,
Como sempre,
Sem poder me ver....

O mesmo gelo,
Um corpo sem alma,
Uma flor sem cor,
Deliciosamente sem sabor...

Tres mil vezes te matei,
Tres mil vezes te chorei,
Num frenesi de amor e ira,
Mas segues a cada dia mais viva,
Em tua perpetua mentira.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;
