Infatuation Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Infatuation

Rating: 5.0

My eyes carry you
Like a childhood dream
I see you through windows
As though you are the moon
Hiding behind the trees
Or playing with the clouds
I see you with eyes of the night
Waiting for the sun.

What manner of seeing is this, that sees something in Nature and is reminded of someone? The last two lines have an immortal ring.
