Blue ferocious eyes looking at me
Nuzzling cuddling with half eyes I see

First glimpse of mine relieving her pain
Having me on back was her vain

Her stripped body swayed with valor
Creating fort in jungle, she stood in vallar

She was my mother and my life
I was her only possession to thrive

She taught me to run hunt and roar
Now her voice don't echo the shore

She went for food leaving me behind
Her warmth on cold nights I rewind

Where is she, I want to know
My strength and speed I want to show

Her massive cat prints I try to follow
Fear of being alone daily I swallow

My cries to the unending boundaries I send
As I wander for her from end to end

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem conveys a message to save wildlife as they have feelings too and their children too wait for them in the jungle.Animals don't enter human world unless we don't enter in their world.Respect and love animals.
This poem of mine is originally written and dedicated to 'AVNI' a royal Bengal tigress, shot dead leaving behind her two nine months old cubs. It just explains the feelings of those cubs who must be waiting for their mother to return.
