Infinity Resides Poem by Suzanne Hayasaki

Infinity Resides

Since steel, nor brick, nor glass, nor founded frames
Can stand against the weight of time for good,
And cities built on wealth amassed through gains
Must crumble from the greatest heights they stood
What monument can I erect to love
To speak to people born in days beyond
The scale of time that I can fathom of
Yet cause their future senses to respond?
Perhaps I'll plant some dandelions here.
And with them wishes for the winds to spread
Their seeds in puffs of white from year to year
And trust in Nature's bounty for their beds.
For while everything that's born is born to die
Within all life infinity resides.

This is one of the best poems I have read recently. Beautifully composed. Great share. Thanks.
