Inflamed Poem by Kunta Williams

Inflamed

INFLAMMED

He dwells in acute dilemma
His heart fickles in quandary
Fate unknown, future unthinkable
Friends and family made him a dessert
I mean a dessert without an 's'
The dessert of isolation, call him 'DESERTED'
The 'gospel' never reached him
Now the sacrifice is his to pay,
With his own precious existence

He can hear his liver screaming inside of him
The guardians of his viscera are in shatters
'Is there any hope in sight? '*
He drowns in the ocean of regret
The meaningless carnal appetite, ecstasy from the needles, and intimidating tattoos
Have plunged him so deep, and it ain't even yet round 2
The travailing toils of an HEPATITIS B patient,
I only hope this goes viral truly
