Informed Clocks Poem by Jennifer English

Informed Clocks

Rating: 5.0

As hourly chimes pass the halls
I will watch over you
Who needs an angel
When you have death itself

Lives halved by smoking
Blinded by drink
No one knows possibilities
Unless you test them

Films show us the impossible
and books reveal the truth
Minds don't get changed by advice
Only from expierence

Faithful friends support me
But the secret is still my own
Someone informed is my saviour
With them around we survive the craze

When they are gone
I will know confusion
Useful technology
Will keep us connected
