Injustice Poem by Sihle Ngidi

Injustice

Rating: 5.0

Flowing freely like water in the waterfall,
They do.
While I am fallen.
Sailing to new destinations. They are,
I am drowned.
Flying to high heights,
Is them.
I am stucked.
Stricken by the lightening of confusion.
Confused...
Loosen the direction
Not knowing where to go.Is me
Not aware of where I am.
Is me too
I am looking for someone
To look for me
Locate me and then show me where to go
I have eyes
I am not blind
But can hardly see anything
I have ears
I am not dumb but can hear not
I have hands
They are empty but can’t accommodate a thing
Have feet, two they are
Enough and strong
I move them
But they are not moving me to anywhere
I have problems
My first problem is that I do not know what my problem is
Is life complex, complicated and confusing?
Or it is me who confuses life?
Why rain rains in summer?
And not in winter when there is none of it.
This is unfair
Is my life what it supposed to be?
Am I what life supposes me to be?
Who is wrong, who is right?
Is there something wrong with me?
Or there is something wrong with my life?
If life had justice
I wouldn’t be in this misery
Life has no justice
