Inner Child Poem by Victoria Ritchie

Inner Child

Gazing into the eyes of a somewhat man,
Is like a gateway into their soul,
Focusing deeply on the hidden chambers within,
You find a child,
Alone, cold, nervous,
Waiting to be loved,
Today as I stare longingly into the eyes,
Of a small child,
I fulfil the destiny,
Waiting to arrive.
