Inner Pilgrimage - Poem by shikha shanti

Within the heart there is a song
a secret whisper for days long gone
a memory that says we're free
a simple, yet haunting melody

Deeper and deeper we hear this hymn
a secret marriage, a scared gem
chanting in rapture we merrily swim

Seafaring travelers in the spirit's realm
past the heart, deeper still
past the breath,
past the will

Total surrender is the key
surrender of that form called 'Me'
surrender in totality

There It shines in mystic light
inner beauty of spiritual sight
an inner dream of vast delight
eternally in all Her might

Travelers, all shunning night
the Inner Pilgrimage of Holy Flight
magical music, magical kites
magical dances and magical rites
The universal magic of eternal life
