Inner Self - Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Sometimes in the depths of despair,
you learn things about your self,
that you did not know where there,
like seeing a different person in the mirror,
that has never been there before,
good or bad,
but an awaking of your inner self,
just another thing in life to explore.

Brilliant piece and amazingly true are the thoughts. I like the depth of meaning excellently contained in brevity. (Report) Reply
