Inner Sorrow Poem by Scot Warren

Inner Sorrow

Rating: 5.0

He fell into his body and inside
He found a puzzle left unsolved. He sat,
Starring at the scattered pieces of his life.
Memories orbited around, around
Until a cyclone of regret became
The pilot of his mistake. He tried to
Let go but realized control was not
His to begin with. He pulled at the lock
That kept his heart bound in a prison cell
Of constant pain and everlasting grief.
Until the day he cracks the code of life
He’s destined now to live his life alone.

Really touching and sad. Life is an enigma.
