Innocent Heart Poem by Narendra Rai

Innocent Heart

Rating: 3.0

Innocuous innocent heart
Bleeds by self suffered pain
Shudders and shivers with rain
With thunders and the ecstasy sun set

Ebony clouds overwhelmed
Over his the rest being and rained
Making night with his tears wetted
letting all pain out and melted

Feelings like thawing and burning candle
Gradually coming to an end and kindle
loneliness thy thirst and within sets fire
burning to ashes and left not intact any desire…

A sad but beautiful and impressive description of a heart from Thar where scarcity of water and expectations of rain dominate the human feelings, sentiments and desires and frustrations, too.
