Inside Poem by Andrea Bailey

Inside

Inside

Auburn hair and amber eyes
flashing fires of dark disguise

I met him in a world of mist
where light and shadow gently kiss

Muted half tones slightly sway
silver lights and shadowed gray’s

Who are you? From where? I say
he took me by the hand and led

To a place of great delight
of dancing fires and colors bright

There pools of amber water wet
were one together yet never met

And music softly filled the air
with golden cords for all to share

Peace and calm there reign supreme
gentle hearts are what they seem

Love was flowing every where
compassion great a need to care

And where are we? again I say
he said to me inside your head

For peace and beauty dwell within
it is the center of your mind your in.
