Inside A Locked Room Of A Heritage Hotel On A Sea Beach Poem by Subhojit Kar

Inside A Locked Room Of A Heritage Hotel On A Sea Beach

Sanely, the old grandfather clock
Stifles its own tick and tock
And listens to their tautology talk.

Plainly, the cold, heavy padlock
Looks on without a trace of shock
Wishing now no visitor to knock

Vainly, the catchy lyrics of rock
Tries to remove their mental block- -
Two of the conventional, herdy flock.
