Inspired By Fiona Apple Poem by Joyleen Heneker

Inspired By Fiona Apple

Hunger hurts, but starving works
Is the prayer that I say
Hunger hurts but starving works
Is what I desire
To be so thin
So light and free
This is what I deserve to be
Hunger hurts but starving works
Is what I do when I fail?
To rid myself of guilt
To punish myself every moment
Hunger hurts, but starving works
To feel the emptiness inside
To feel so hungry and proud
Hunger hurts starving works
Hunger hurts spewing works
