International Interacton (Do You Correctly Understand?) Poem by Old Teenage Poems

Am i naïve,
seeking International Interaction
through dead and silent words
-or is this the final contraction
before the naissance of new, understanding worlds?

Am i subversive,
thinking there is a better solution to it all
than shutting our eyes to our own active part in the situation
-calling it 'someone else's' problem, 'someone else's' call
potentially participating with some temporary guilt probation?

Am I correctly understood,
when we both know you'll have forgotten this in a min
will have dismissed me as a 'someone else', a one of 'those'
-will have considered my 'clearly naïve and subversive' words - a sin
when my message has a more short-term effect on you than glucose?
