Into The Wind

The leaves are falling from the trees
Children run and crunch them beneath their feet
I see a smile on every single kid
Smile for me, and jump into the wind
Oh darling, jump into the wind
My darling, jump into the wind

School is out the kids will run and play
Find all your papers, go throw them away
Play the song that your heart wants to sing
Strum your guitar and jump into the wind
Oh darling, jump into the wind
My darling, jump into the wind

Come inside the world is too cold
The winters come and covered the ground with snow
Stay in the blankets keep all the heat in
Close your eyes, as I jump into the wind
Oh darling, jump into the wind
My darling, jump into the wind

We were standing on the ledge
Breeze in your hair, my hand in your hand
I can feel your heart beneath your skin
Hold me tight and jump into the wind
Oh darling, jump into the wind
My darling, jump into the wind

These beautiful lyrics are full of warmth and mirth and the beauty of the seasons and the innocent joy of youth. If you have written music for them there is a guy I discovered on youtube who plays guitar so beautifully and I can envision him doing a beautiful job in capturing in sound and tone the feeling of these lyrics. His name is Peter Gergely. I just discovered him a few days ago. Beautiful lyrics. Another 10. (Report) Reply
