Intoxicated Poem by Minerva Agriam

Intoxicated

Rating: 4.0

I felt the surrounding swerved
Away from my side!
Feeling sleepy, a little bit tipsy,
Everything swirled around me!

Your love has left me entoxicated!
Like the taste of a decade cured wine,
You brought me to the heavens!
Your love is intoxicating me!

Slamming my tired body on a cushioned chair,
I found no one beside me.
So my wearied body curled
Like a hurted little puppy.

Closing my tear filled tired eyes,
Hoping they would stop shedding tears!
For no one would appreciate them,
Not even myself intoxicated by you!
