Intrusion Poem by Roshni D'Souza

Intrusion

Rating: 5.0

Glimpses of you keep chasing
the corners of my eyes.
That I'm trying to evade you;
one could easily surmise.

I see you in the corners
of streets I used to walk;
in faces of people
who want to stop and talk.

So, I'm putting up my walls;
solid mortar and bricks.
Gonna hole myself in
just for giggles and kicks.

But the walls don't faze you;
You know how to break in.
You've snuck into my veins;
you're swimming deep within.
