Inverness Fog Poem by Francie Lynch

Inverness Fog

There's a fog over Inverness,
Wrapping the banks
Of the river Ness;
Enveloping me
As you once did.
A fog that will not dissipate,
A mist to mirror
My heartbreak.
A fog that hides
My lone distress.
This fog won't lift
Til my final rest.
