When I'm out here on this battlefield trying to survive,
my love for you is the only thing that's keeping me alive
It's what keeps me holding on when i'm backed up against a wall,
it lifts me up off the ground each time that I fall
It's the armour that protects me from all the hurt and pain,
It makes me believe that I can run faster than a speeding train
I know that I can make it through each and every day,
because you are the light that helps me find my way
When it begins to rain you take the clouds from my skies,
when i'm feeling sorrow you wipe the tears from my eyes
My love for you makes me invincible no one can break me apart,
the only shielding I need is this feeling in my heart
So now I walk out into this battlefield standing up tall,
because now I know my love for you makes me invincible.
