Invisable Poem by rains of bloom

Invisable

Invisibility to the crowd
but standing up on stage
all eyes pointed somewhere else
not seeing the pain upon my face.

Stage makeup vibrant
masking my features inside
my stone of a heart craving
but yours refused to reply.

Playing the widow
on this baren, lonely stage
the only one acting,
though acting in a haze.

A one man gig
playing all on my own
my face aglow from the floresence,
standing here alone.

Others all believing
my 'fine, i'll be okay'
not really wanting an answer,
wanting pain far away.

So I lie to many faces
none relizing the false truth
all obsessed with fantasy illusion lives
all obsessed with their fast fading youth.

So i stand upon a stage
the audiense not really there
i cry,
my heart of lonliness
no one seeing a single tear.

The vibrant lights disguising
my face of watery tears
only seeing my mascara,
can't even detect the shmears.

Invisibility to the crowd
obsessed with their own lives
to busy to notice
a sharp silver knife.

Prodding from my side
liquid streaming out
a woven knitted doll
with a needle pointing out.

A lonely lilting flower
leaning in the breeze
footsteps crushing
the last whisp of me.

Invisibility to the crowd
while standing up on stage,
but once i left, they're saying
'who was that? '

'What's her name? '

Invisibility in the crowd
the one passed by
eyes overlooked
my soul was in disguise.
