Irrational Fears Poem by J.M. Española

Irrational Fears

Rating: 1.5

If I grew fat and be so large,
That i can't run, or scoot, or dodge,
Would you still hug me?

If my hair's white and my eyes blind,
That even my house i could not climb,
Would you still kiss me?

If my heart swelled and gushed all blood,
That in the room there'd be a flood,
Would you still say I'm pretty?

If all else fails and everything changed,
So bad it can't be rearranged,
Would you still look at me,
and tell me that I'm lovely?
