Is Love Blind? Poem by Edwina Reizer

Is love blind?
Some say it is.
As for me I know.
For I cannot see clearly anymore.
I wonder does it show?
Blinded by all that creates sense,
I've definitley lost my sight.
And only love can I blame for this
for just stars are in my sight.

Everything else is barely visible,
camouflaged by your smile.
And when I try to feel my way
I walk the longest mile.
I stumble every inch of the path
and find myself alone.
Surely there must be an answer
for love's made me blind as a bat.
