Is Today the Day

Is today the day
we tell Satan flee
is today the day
we will be free

Is today the day
we curl and run
is today the day
we use that gun

Is today the day
much like before
Is today the day
to close the door

Is today the day
the walls come down
Is today the day
we will abound

Is today the day
we ask Jesus in
Is today the day
life begins again

Is today the day
we help a friend
is today the day
Will we let Him in

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
